There are not so many jobs of today that one is afforded the opportunity to work with young athletes aged 6 through 20 that are driven, goal oriented and motivated.  I have the best job in the world. This team is focused on the process, rather than the reward. It is the philosophy of this team to become the best swimmers possible through hard work, commitment and dedication – every day. We strive for excellence in the classroom and we reach out to our community throughout the year. These Silver Fin athletes have tremendous team and individual accomplishments, but we are most proud of the positive attitude, sportsmanship and camaraderie displayed by its athletes. The coaching staff and the YMCA provide an atmosphere that fosters greatness and respect for others. We like to win and we make every day count. Our goal is to make a difference in the lives of today’s youth through the vehicle of sport.
