ZINGÁRO Gallery has found a new home at the Park West shopping and lifestyle center. ZINGÁRO Gallery, formerly located in Glendale, continues its focus on Art and Fine Craft by North American and many Arizona Artists as well as International Fine Craft as it has for almost 8 years in the West Valley. “ZINGÁRO has represented the West Valley art scene well and that tradition will continue. This new era for the Gallery, moving and expanding to a much larger space in Park West in Peoria, can only mean good things to come,” said gallery owner Sheila Almstead.
The Gallery currently represents approximately 180 American and Canadian Artists as well as other fine crafts from over 20 countries. The emphasis on American Craft has been well received and the new location and larger space will generate the presence of many new artists’ work. ZINGÁRO Gallery handles small pewter or ceramic figurines, beautiful contemporary art glass, pottery, turned and carved wood items; sculpture in metal, glass, ceramic, stone and other mediums in addition to framed or canvas wall art originals, limited edition prints, GiclÉe and unframed work. There has never been any shortage of variety, style or price range in this gallery.
The Gallery also has the largest selection of Soleri Windbells in the Valley with the exception of the Cosanti and Arcosanti Foundations and they have one of the largest selections of Artist made clocks anywhere in the valley. Clocks that are silly and whimsical to urban sophisticate can be found here. In 2008, ZINGÁRO Gallery was nominated for a “Top Retailer” Award by Niche Magazine , a national industry publication for retailers of American Craft and North American Artists.
